I’ve been straight edge since May 1, 2006. How bout you do the math for a change. But to the common person who does not know what this means, straight edge is a lifetime personal choice based on a principle of strict discipline. Abstinence of all alcoholic substance, weed or cigarettes and casual sex. Straight edge is a punk lifestyle, according to my own understanding that there’s no way you’ll be straight edge without being involved and supporting the hardcore punk scene. A selfish reason you may think. To this day I’m still Straight Edge and so proud of it that I see it as a life achievement.
